Grants- thanks community partners!

Budgeting is a challenge in this day of decreasing K-12 district budgets.  However, thanks to some community partners, I was able to write grants for technology devices and be awarded funding to provide some much needed devices.

The first grant of $8,200 was awarded as part of the Rural Schools Grant. In partnership with Nsight we were able to fund some Android Tablets for our World Language high school model classroom.

The next two grants, $75,000 each for a total of $150,000, were awarded from the Wisconsin Technology Initiative. These grants allowed us to equip each high school classroom with an interactive Smartboard, each middle school classroom with Smartboard speakers for enhanced audio, and each World Language classroom with a voice amplification system for improved sound with learning a second language.
