When I first started purchasing iPads for our K-5 classrooms, I wanted our teachers and students to start learning with them right away! I also know the learning curve and time it takes to find quality apps. As a result, I worked with grade level teachers to test and develop a core set of apps to be used at varying grade levels. These apps were purchased and provided on each iPad. When the teachers and students got these in their hands, there were many quality apps aligned to their curriculum. Then, the next professional development day for teachers was devoted to learning about these apps!
